Process Essence
A rotating wheel applies pressure point by point to a workpiece (metal sheet or tube) rotating at high speed around a mandrel, causing continuous localized plastic deformation to ultimately form a hollow rotating body part.
Equipment Structure and Movement
The equipment structure is similar to a lathe, including a mandrel (spindle), a roller frame, and a tailstock hydraulic cylinder.
The mandrel drives the workpiece rotation, and the roller applies pressure through radial and axial combined movements.
